The children in Year two had a fabulous, sunny afternoon outside for their seaside day. Having spent the morning making a range of sandwiches and constructing a 3D beach house, they were keen to get their feet wet in the paddling pools. They used their number skills to 'buy' an ice pop choosing the flavour and making the right price with real coins. Everyone played beautifully with the beach games and the sandpit was also highly popular. What a great start to our topic!
