You can figure out any fact in the multiplication table of 5 by taking the corresponding fact in the TABLE OF 10, and taking HALF of that.
And, to figure out any multiplication fact in the table of 6, do the corresponding fact in the table of 3, and DOUBLE that.
Similarly, to find any multiplication fact in the table of 4, do the corresponding fact in the table of 2, and DOUBLE that.
These tricks are especially useful for students in 3rd grade, when they need to learn by heart all of the times tables.
